2. Retro toy collector focussed on the toys I loved as a kid.  My Subbuteo and Scalextric Collections are getting out of hand.

As you might of guessed by now my name is Gavin and I'm the owner of gavin conlan photography Ltd, a professional wedding and portrait photographer based in Halstead Essex.  

My photography journey started back in the Winter of 2022 by chance really, I was working for the British Government part of their video production unit when we were let down by the official photographer to cover an event.  I was asked to cover the event at short notice and I loved it.  Everything came naturally to me and everyone loved the photographs and from that moment on I was hooked on photography and I knew this was the career I wanted.

My Government photography ended in March 2013 when I made the big decision to take my wedding photography business full time.  During those 11 years photography took me all over the World, I've been blessed to have photographed multiple Prime Ministers, British Royal Family, overseas Royalty, actors and sports stars I even went on tour with the Red Arrows across thr Middle East and was the official photographer photographing the celebration party of TEAM GB after the London Olympics in 2012.  Some of the Countries I've photographed in are China, USA, Hong Kong, Japan, UAE, Bahrain, Spain, Italy, France, Poland, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Scotland, Wales, Belgium, Greece, India, Vietnam, Portugal, Lanzarote and Malaysia.

Since 2013 I have been photographing weddings full-time, it's an amazing job it really is!!  I have to limit the amount of weddings I do per year so I can give my everything to each wedding client.  I personally do everything from the pre-wedding meetings to photographing your wedding day, to selecting and editing your photographs in my signature style and then delivering your photographs via my bespoke branded USB drive and prsentation box, I also design your wedding albums.
